Our mission is to make our communities a happy and healthy place to live! We achieve this goal by multiple paths. From working toward fulfilling needs for those who need a helping hand to adding engaging resources into local communities to keep residents and visitors connected, we reinforce the power just a little bit of kindness can have!

Our History
Cris Moore-Lucier (center) is our original founder who started Kindness Rocks Delta County in 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. His startup idea was simple: buy gift cards from local businesses to help them stay afloat through the pandemic and hand those gift cards out to community members who demonstrated acts of kindness to others or who might be in critical need of services those gift cards could supply! Malarie "Mal" Luft (right), a long time friend of Cris, joined Cris in spreading kindness and expanding on his ideas shortly thereafter. Tyler "Ty" Moore-Lucier (left) joined the duo shortly before he got engaged to Cris. Together, the three are constantly working to come up with new ideas and new ways to spread kindness! In July of 2025, with participation expanding into Marquette County, "Kindness Rocks Delta County" was changed to Kindness Rocks U.P. Michigan to allow our efforts to spread across our amazing Upper Peninsula!
